ianc
There has been discussion recently on the Forum about removal of engine, and I see that Lidl has a CHAIN hoist (note - not rope) with 3m lift, 1000kg load capacity and 3-year warranty at £29.99. Also, shelving unit H190, W1000, D45, with 5 shelves (max. 65kg/shelf) at £24.99, or two for £40.00 Double bench grinder at £19.99. It never ceases to amaze me what this company sources. Ian Cornish quite right Ian, I bought the "Sharpener" today with a view to sharpening the host of BLUNT drills I have, if it works at £14 I will be pleased.
kob666e
quite right Ian, I bought the "Sharpener" today with a view to sharpening the host of BLUNT drills I have, if it works at £14 I will be pleased. It's a bit finniky to get connected to the drill, but when it works it does a great job.
Lebro
Yes, I bought the drill sharpener a while ago. It does work well, but you need an old fashioned chuck with a key on the drill you attach it to. I ended up buying a cheap drill from B & Q to fill that gap, so not quite such a bargain for some. Les
Now I'm confused!
cbxman
A couple of weeks ago the drill sharpener they were offering was a drill attachment. The one in the store on Thursday is self propelled. It does knives, chisels and drills. Looks very good and only 15 quid. I wished I'd picked one up when I bought the chain hoist. Check their video http://www.lidl.co.uk/en/our-offers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=31896
Les
Ah!......I understand now! I could not work out this talk of needing a power drill for the current motorised sharpener.
Lebro
Yes sorry about the confusion. I am out of the country at present, & so had not seen the current offering. Bob.
