Goswell
Hi Nigel, I'm in the process of a rebuild and will be changing the wheels to wires. Wheels are in good condition, straight and are fitted with low mileage Michelin Radial X tyes. Tyres appear to be in perfect conditiion but they are 15 years old, I'm therefore geting new tyres for the wires. I'm in Surrey near to Gatwick. Dave

OAF939M
I was thinking of buying a set of wire wheels, but taking lot of advice re problems with rust, wear etc. have decided on Minilites. I will keep my "as new" factory steel wheels in a dry dark place. I do have painted wires on my 1936 Riley but I can get at them from behind to clean without taking them off.. Nigel A
Hi I have just purchased a set of genuine Minilites from Hamilton Classics. If you tell them you are a TR Register member they will give you discount. Cheers Nigel
nibbo
Hi guys as said I have found some steel wheels, the reason I wanted them is I have at the moment a set of origonal minilites on the car that I need to refurb, I believe painting is the way forward.
