Mark69
The casting on the passenger trailing arm that holds the flexible brake pipe is badly corroded. The brake pipe is fitted and fairly secure but I think with movement will come loose. I have tried washers either side which worked well but was unable to fit copper brake pipe due to taking up to much thread. Anyone overcome this problem ? Thanks Mark. DaveN
Get it built up with weld then reshape with something like a Dremel.
stuart
Get it built up with weld then reshape with something like a Dremel. You could do that, or I think TR Improvements have refurbed arms for sale at the moment. Stuart.

Mark69
Many thanks all I was hoping to repair rather than replace. Mark.
RogerH
Hi Mark, google 'Lumiweld' - that should do it. Roger
stuart
A good man with a TIG should be able to build it up and then you could file it up to shape. Stuart.
peejay4A
It was a while back but I think I filed down a pair of washers to fit snugly into the casting lugs. It seems to have held up for 6 years.
