Smiths Heater for TR2/3/3A pre-TS60000 For Sale...

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have For Sale a second-hand original Smiths Heater which I removed from a 1960 TR3A that I dismantled for spares about 4 decades ago, Part No.700899.

This is a genuine 4" matrix 'Smiths Motor Accessories' Heater fitted as original equipment to Triumph TR's. This Smiths Heater reference numbers are; HS920/4, output 2kw, 12 volt.

This Smiths heater also includes the hard to source mounting bracket Part No.700855 plus the alloy adaptor between the heater & the Y connector, Part No. 602019.

This heater is ready to bolt-on & wire-up to your pre-TS60000 TR. It is in good overall condition & ideal for use on a concours rebuild where the owner needs an original TR heater. This heater unit would need to be cleaned by its new owner as it's been lying in my attic for the past 4 decades & is in the same condition now as when removed from the donor 3A. It was working perfectly before removal. Original wiring is intact & the matrix itself is in perfect condition.

Price is £375.00 plus packing & shipping costs within the E.U of £40.00 via registered post.

Payment is by PayPal only.

Collection from Dublin, Ireland is available if required.

Note; I was trying, without success, to place this Smiths Heater as an advert on our club's new website's 'Buy/Sell/TRade' section, but the bugs on the new site stopped this happening.

I always offer TR Register club members any TR parts I'm selling first, before uploading the parts to Ebay where they will sell for a higher price.

Do email me if you require further information; macmahon.pat@gmail.com

My TR Register membership number is 2110.
