My TR6 Photo

1971 150BHP with overdrive Sapphire Blue

Owned by me for 28 years...

Garaged and off the road for 25 years

Photographed last week after coming off axle stands she had been on for 10 years

After freeing off the brakes rolled out of the garage for the first time in 25 years and into the sunshine

More to follow as I progress with getting her back onto the road

Hi Dex,

Your story just shows how easily time slips away. We put something away meaning to fix it and before we know it a quarter of a century has passed by. It's scary!

What were the issues with the car when you took it off the road all those years ago? It would be interesting to know what extra ones have developed in that time, too.

Good luck with getting her on the road again.

Cheers, Darren

Looks similar but a lot better than mine when it rolled out of the garage after 16 years (attached).. although before I put it in the garage it had spent 10 years on grass on a welsh hillside at my grandfathers farm... Next image is 3 years later.. took a hell of a lot of work but very rewarding!

Hi Jogger,

make sure the photo is not too big. 100kB is good

At the bottom left of the text screen click on 'choose file'

Select your pic from your computer file

Click on 'Attach this file' bottom left of the screen

Place the cursor where you want the pic.

Click on 'add this file' bottom right hand corner.
