Italia 227
For sale again (or maybe still). Think it was over $200k last time. http://bringatrailer.com/2015/05/16/pb-races-and-concours-impressive-1954-swallow-doretti/
2long
Obviously a bit inflated, but are these Dorettis in the same league as the Italia? Those party frocks are hot! Dan P.S. Trivia question: Wouldn't a 1954 Doretti have the H4 carb with the two bolt inlet manifold, rather than the four bolt manifold shown on the car? Or were some 1954 Dorettis using the H6? stuart
Fantasy Junction are well known for fantasy pricing as well. Its been for sale for quite a while. That isnt the nicest trim combo either. Stuart. Edited May 17, 2015 by stuart
2long
Looks like they put a TR4 engine in it with a number (CT1092E) similar to the one on the commission plate (TS1091E). Wonder if it was a coincidence? Dan
