jake_a
As it says in the title really (although I of course mean servo; damn auto correct!)! Is it possible to swap over the servo unit without disconnecting the master cylinder from the brake lines i.e. splitting the two units on the car? stuart
Yes it is. But you need to adequately support the cylinder while you are doing it. Stuart.
geoffd
That's what I did, it worked a treat! Geoff
jake_a
Cheers guys; easy when you know it can be done! However, I now know the MC is kaput and need to order a new one; have the quality issues been sorted yet if I buy from one of the known suppliers (TR Shop, Rimmers, etc.)? stuart
I would go for TR Shop as they usually do a deal on the two together. They havent had issues with theirs AFIK. Stuart.
jake_a
Stuart, yeah, except silly me tried to do it on a budget and thought only the servo needed to be done, so bought that separately late last year..............
