Is the bellhousing on the TR3/4 the same size as the TR6? Reason for the question. I have some instructions for putting a modern clutch into a TR. i.e stopping the clutch judder. Unfortunately in the title is says for TR3/4. there is no refernce to a TR6

Cant help but if its a TR6 there lots of guidance on here regarding clutch judder, and getting rid of it. Got rid of mine by doubling up on cross shaft bushes,ie 2 each side not one, , and new release bearing, new bolt thru crossshaft ...good luck

This principle is to have the thrust bearing perminately running on the clutch. I have been told this is how modern day cars work. I think this means much less movement of the fork and hence the danger off the sleeving catching will be less.
