Dick
I wonder if this still exists... Unfortunately I cannot remember the registration or commission numbers. But here we go.... I owned it around 1980. It was painted Saab green. Came from a garage in Grimsby. Fitted with stage 11 head, 42 DCOE Webbers and a 4 branch. I removed this engine and fitted a TR2 unit with 3a head on SUs. The overdrive gearbox used to slip out of top gear occaisionally. I sold it in 1981 and shortly afterwards it was rear ended in Lincoln but I believe it was repaired. My memories of it was that with the original engine set up it was a fast car for its day. Dick
3" inlet valves, 1/2" head skim, quadruple valve springs, ports roughed up a bit to improve turbulence and a coat of tartan paint.
