TR3's

Recommended Posts

Guest afflora

I have just been given a 59 TR3 and a 60 TR3. Both are completely disassembled and one was to be the parts car for the other. I have to go and pick them up but was wondering where there is a similar BB for TR3's in the US and where can I get a manual for the TR3.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

...TR3a's...

Small (very small) point of fact...

Triumph never added the "A", the badges still say TR3... so technically...

OK OK... nit pickling... not like me normally... but...

Sorry!  (Ducks to avoid flying hub cap, bumper, and brick)

Dosn't say Triumph on the badge either so technically ......

OK then Clive!

A Triumph TR3 1958 model.

Better now!

TR3a makes getting the bits easier.

Just to set the story clear.  I bought my TR3A brand new in May of 1958 and the purchase order reads TR3.  You are right, the Triumph factory or Sales Offices never called it a 3A.  We the owners on the street called it a 3A to differentiate it from the 1956-57 TR3 - and the name stuck.
