paul7
I have a 14" flat wheel which Im very pleased with. It came with a boss so not sure about Spitfire boss.
RobinTR6
Yep 14 ins and flat. It does depend on your dimensions however. I 5 ft 9 ins and long arms, so column is pushed near the column and seat as far back as runners allow. The smaller diameter gives a bit more legroom and somewhat easier entry and exit. It very personal so worth experimenting with different configs. Drive a 100 miles with your preferred option , that will isolate the real preferences.
jerrytr5
Spitfire, Herald & TR use the same wheel boss, but not all bosses have same pcd for the wheel fitting - you need a matched pair. 15inch is traditional but too big for taller drivers. 13 inch you will find heavy at low speed. 14 inch is perfect. Have you driven with a wood rim? I hated one that I once had. Dangerously slippery. Jerry.
ian l
thanks for the info looks like it will be a 14, did think it would give a bit more room in the car but never thought about it being slippy more things to think about now ian
