jojim65
I have a feeling this winter won't be much different to last year and there will be extended time spent alone in the garage with the dog, Ken Bruce and my TR! I'm looking at some winter projects one of which is getting a firmer 'feel' when closing the doors and reducing the noise coming from the engine bay into the cockpit. To this end I'm looking at the below http://www.dynamat.co.uk/store/dynamat-xtreme/dynamat-xtreme-bulk-pack I would be very interested if anyone has been down route or might know other useful products. Thanks Jim Edited October 10, 2014 by jojim65
Fireman049
Hi Jim ~ I'm afraid that your link doesn't bring up the info? (I get "This Page No Longer Exists"). Tom.

Jim58
I used Fatmat to sound proof my doors. Seems to give a more positive feel and sound proofing. Jim

Bald Rick
Jim I used this instead of Dynamat: http://www.frost.co.uk/eastwood-thermo-coustic-sound-deadener-material-9-pieces.html It seems to work ok. It's easy to cut with large scissors. It's self adhesive. Watch that you don't cut your fingers on the aluminium. So far I've put it on the transmission tunnel and inside the doors of my GT6. Tony It's also about half the price of Dynamat.
