Peter Vernon
I searched this on the forum but to no avail. Has anyone used Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure? (What a product name!) I am told that it is very effective in solving leaks. I am sure there will be some choice reply’s but I am interested nonetheless. Regards, Peter
RogerH
Hi Peter, Ivor (88V8) swore by it. Apparently it works very well. As to where you buy it that is another problem. Roger
Fireman049
I had a creeping crack leak and Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure worked a treat. The only problem was that I wasn't able to ride my bike for two weeks Tom

BrianC
I also read loads of positive reports and bought some last year from a ship/boat chandlers just to keep for emergencies. I find most items used by the water gypsies to be reliable and fit for purpose.

Lebro
I keep a pot of it in my boat - use occasionaly to re-seal leaking windows etc - it does seem to work. It is a very thin white "mastic" which flows into any gaps between rubber & glass, or rubber & body. it then gets thicker & stays put. Buy from any boat chandlers or online. Bob. Bobbie
I have used this with good results on the screen seal of my TR2, works a treat but can be a bugger to remove from paintwork when dry. Apart from online purchases this is usually available from old fashioned ironmongers or plumbers merchants. Regards Bob.

RogerH
Hi Dave, it is water based so probably not. It doesn't say it is. Roger
