Ken Bournes Posted July 9, 2014 Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 Hi Sav, I have had my gear box repaired last year by Peter Cavanagh, 1 Stanley Avenue, Rose Hill, Marple, Stockport SK6 6JJ tel. no. 0161 427 4442. mob 07788 572315. Gear box has been no trouble since and it was a really good job, I also had the over drive done at the same time. I liked that he gave me back the old shafts and other items that were damaged and replaced. He took rather a long time in repairing the gear box, though I did say to Peter at the time that I was in no hurry so maybe I contributed to the length of time it took. So maybe if you do get in touch with him ask him when you could expect completion. I am still really enjoying my TR6 and getting out when ever I am able - rain or shine!
