From the advert......................

This is a 1958 Peerless GT phase 2. This car was subject to a complete rebuild in the last 10 years or so by a previous owner which involved the fitment of a new chassis. I purchased the car around 4 years ago at which time it was recommissioned by well known specialists TR Enterprises at a cost of over £15,000 (bills available). since then the car has done less that 1500 miles.
This work included rebuilding the engine to a fast road/mild race specification including brand new weber 45 DCOE carbs, Carillo steel rods, a big valve cylinder head, balanced and with a custom made exhaust system. The engine has been rolling road tested at 164hp. The original SU carburetors will be sold with the car.
Mechanically this car is sound and has an overdrive gearbox. The bodywork is completely rust free although the fibreglass has surface crazing in a number of places (see pictures) and to be in A1 condition it could benefit from some cosmetic attention, although without it has a nice period patina.
The car has just had a service and MOT and can be viewed at TR enterprises.
This is a great car and the marque has Le Mans racing history. Eligible for most classic race series including Classic Le Mans.
Would consider selling without the engine.
Selling as I am focusing on my TR4 race car and am not using it.
Will try and put the pics up on here for you
