Danny Vaughan
Does anyone know what the best manual is to buy for repairing and understanding the workings of my new TR6. I'm very new to repairing cars and would like to restore it in winter but for now just get to know the car. I've been told not to get the Haynes manual as it is not informative enough. Mark69
Hi Danny Been restoring mine for several years on and off I have both of the above books , both being very good, but its the forum which you will come to rely on for a lot of things these do not cover. What ever you get stuck on someone on here as been there and done it. All eager to help. Mark
RobinTR6
Danny welcome, good to hear another TR is on the mend. The Brown bible (Operations manual ) is a mist. As Mark says these are good when youre already reasonably well informed but the real key is here: this forum had seen me thru quite a few restorations and more importantly issues arising when you think youre all sorted so 'do ask'....and good luck
