Another arm rest and console option for TR4 to TR6

Recommended Posts

British Parts Northwest are a reputable company that sells quality stuff and will ship internationally. Not sure where this arm rest/console comes from but it just appeared in an email from them. Some storage and two power outlets.

Only problem with them is if your tall like me then its difficult to get to the handbrake as your sitting back further and the top front of the rest is in the way.

Come on chaps! This has got to be a thing anyone can make to suit themselves.

Only wants some ply-wood, some padding a bit bit of Vinyl.

I made the corners of my dashboardl and the centre bit for the switches.

Chaps

I also made my own & had the top professionally made to my size & covered in leather, very comfortable to rest your arm on & the extra storage is a bonus or you could try www.triumphconsoles.com

Cheers

I cobbled up my own on the last TR250 I built, it was a bit Heath Robinson, with a merc armrest I cut in half narrowed and then recovered.

but it was prettier than the one shown at $199 mine cost about £10.

A nice job too, but tell us more, whats the crash pad made from, I thought of expanding foam and all sorts for my L/Hand TR4 crash pad but still haven't made anything

Also if anyone is interested in some NOS Amco windwings in the original box, there is a set posted on Ebay USA, I really want them but can't afford that right now. Nice option to have though. Have any of you had Windwings?

Spotted this in a marshalls car at SPA classic recently, He purchased it from a German TR supplier in Koln.
