Recommended Posts

Hi,

Does anyone have a pic of a TR4a with 165x15x80 tyres on the 5.5J wheels? (or 185x70HR15 tyres).

Thanks

This is my TR4A on 5.5" Minilites fitted with Goodyear Excellence 185/65 x 15.

Cheers

Graeme

Edit. Whoops, sorry, you meant 5.5" spoked wheels?

Hi Guys ,

Can some one please show me a close up pic of a TR4A side profile with 15X5.5J 72 spoke wire wheels with either 165x15 tyres or 185x70 15HR or any other that fits within the arches.

Thanks

Charles

Hi Guys,

Well a year later and I just got back from having my new tyres (Vredestein 165/80/15) fitted and balanced on my new Wire Wheels (from TR Shop) by Paul Harris Classic Tyres in Sutton Coldfield. We also fitted the thin white wall trims from VW Heritage (£50) so just now waiting for paintshop to finish the paintwork so I can re-build her...Summer here I come.

Paul

Hard cornering? the grip goes before i get to that point! :D

The wheels have been replaced with new ones during the 15 years of my ownership, but the driving experience is so far removed from a modern car that it's difficult to know whether they flex or not.

How can you feel grip in mid air Steve ? Edited by McMuttley
