Recommended Posts

Just to update you chaps. Been in for a winter resto, engine check, new cam, rebuilt head, rebuilt injection system (courtesy of Neil Raven Smith ), check and improve gearbox, overdrive and diff (courtesy of P Cox), all new hydraulics and lines, rewired, wheels restored and new Vredestein 165 tyres, windscreen (what a pig to put in) etc etc. She's a 1968 LHD American car. Chassis rebuilt 10 yrs ago so its immaculate, suspension and brakes done at the same time then left for 10 yrs till I turned up. Converted to RHD by TRGB. Its the original chassis and a later rust free body and engine. J type gearbox and overdrive and a 3.4 diff.

Got to do hood and interior and some minor electricks.....hopefully then MOT and ......drive her

Drove this out of the garage this am

Stan, should be but isn't . It's a very close colour but had to het paint matched to spray engine bay. God knows by PO didn't just go with standard colour. Chassis is powder coated in grey not black. Did wonder about doing it black but the grey has grown on me. Does make it easier to spot stuff. Got a slight manifold leak but can't find it, had both inlet and exhaust off twice but no joy. Any ideas chaps...
