Guest barry100
Hi All I'm going to rebuild my front suspension to-morrow, according to my w/shop manual I have set the bottom trunion clearance and the lock stops, some one told me I must also set the threaded part of the trunion ( to give king pin inclination etc) or does one just screw it up as far as it can go. a bit of advice would be helpfull-- Barry
marvmul
or does one just screw it up as far as it can go That's it (with the bolt of the lock stops not in place). To compress the spring, you will need the special tool or a threaded rod with nuts and washers.
Ade-TR4
make sure when you screw the trunnions up that they don't lock (ie fully tighten) on full steering-lock. cheers Ade
