Andy Field
With not much luck, I have been trying to acquire the brackets to mount the Lucas 9H Windtone horns in my 1962 TR4. Therefore I have decided to make my own. With that in mind, would anyone be able to supply me with the dimensions of one. I know it would be easy just to knock something similar up, however I would like to get close to an original one in size and appearance. The bracket I am referring to appears to be 'stepped' in profile and is triangular in shape. In the Moss parts & accessories catalogue, the part is listed as GGE113. Thanks Regards, Andy
stuart
Talk to TR Shop or TR Bitz as they may well have originals. Stuart.
RAHTR4
Hi Andy, On my TR4, each horn is mounted on a flat plate - thin but quite springy - with two thick spacer washers underneath. I assumed this set up was to even out vibration when the car is on the move? I will check later as I might be able to find an odd one for a pattern.
