Yeah, the cars used to work a lot harder for their living than they do today, didn't they?

 

I wonder if the red TR3A banged up its rear wing getting to that spot?

Now, that's interesting! I am always hauling the spars and sails of my son's dinghy on top of my wife's Beemer. I have been thinking about a gizmo on mt TR to haul that sailing stuff. Here is the answer! Thanks for posting this.

Edit: when re-studying the pics, I first wondered why the roofrack is so much higher than the top of the hood. Then I realised that it is still possible to open the hood with the kano mounted on the rack!
