HeswallTR3
Hi Just had my repair kit arrived from Moss, I was wondering what was in the sachet, I was presuming it was some form of lubricant.....do I need to use this as I was planning on using the Dot 5 as lubricant. Also any tips on putting it all back together and refilling the system Much much appreciated Keith
Don H.
The Buckeye Triumphs site in Ohio has a number technical articles that may be interesting to you. http://www.buckeyetriumphs.org/technical/clutch/ClutchHydraulics/Clutch_Hydraulics.htm
Paul Harvey
I did mine last week and used brake fluid as the repair kit only had the inner seal and outer rubber cover Simple job as long as you keep the master cylinder topped up along the way and bleed it slowly afterwards
TomMull
Can't go wrong with the brake fluid but a little of the grease on the outer boot and rod wouldn't hurt, in my oinion. Tom

Tom Note the op is planning to use DOT5 (silicone) fluid. I'd keep any hydrocarbon fluid or grease out of the closed parts of the system.
