IanR
Hi All, Have put this on the 6 forum on the basis it probably gets more reads than the tr5 one. I have recently been getting some annoying running on when turning off the ignition. Sometimes this happens even if the engine has run for just a minute or two. This morning backed out of garage, shut garage door, then realised I had locked myself out, turned off ignition .. hell of a din till it stopped. Have tried all the usual possibilities, changing plugs (stock plug is BP6EY) for hotter and colder .. no difference. Checked timing, quite correct. Whats more puzzling is that it has not done this before a couple of months ago and I have not touched anything, anything that is barring a change of petrol from V power to BP 97 Excellium ... Mmmmmm Any clues out there could this just be the petrol change

stephen cooper
V power is 99 octane? Worth reverting as a test if possible..
Quentin
Fuel for me. Regular unleaded = run on for me. Need to retard. Shell v power = no run on. Cheers Quentin
