A couple of weeks ago I drove to England, and the day before I came, I started getting a knock in the transmission. By the time I had driven the 400 odd miles to Sutton Coldfield, the knock was really bad. Turned out to be the inboard UJ on the LH driveshaft. Replacing it got rid of an annoying vibration I have had since I bought the car 6 years ago! Let us know what you find, please. Austin Quote Link to post Share on other sites
