angelfj
But when would the need for oiling arise after a rebuild? If the rebuild included a new bronze bushing let's hope the shop knew how to prepare it. Over here we call this type of bushing oilite, a trade name for a porous bronze material developed by Chrysler Motors in the 1930's. We usually soak them in hot oil for an hour before pressing into place.
