Don't like the front bumper but the rest is superb.

Come on, the chrome covers argue. Would look good painted silver all over.

Al.

It's a matter of contrast. Wouldn't be so attractive all the same finish! :)

Sorry but I absolutely hate it, looks like a five year olds idea for a concept car! The bumper must have been a real design poser, not!

"Here's a bit of stainless strip" " polish it up and stick on the front like a bumper"

Without the "bumper" it might be acceptable to someone but the wheel trims are awful but I don't even like steel wheels on a sidescreen car so what do I know.

Each to his own i suppose!

If ever there was a candidate for keying !

Bumper and wheel trims hideous.

Ally tonneau has to be painted

or brushed to match the stoneguards.

Then, I may just forgive wheel spats on a 3A.

Wonder what he did to the engine bay and trim?

Second thoughts - I don't want to know.

A Cali black plate, too.

I love the wheel trims. Unfortunately the whole thing will remain a polishers/ show car as it is totally impractical for using as it should be used. But what do I know? I used to hate the Peerless but now I love it.

Cars / styles can grow on you...!!!:):):)

Sue -

You like the wheels trims?

April Fool jokes end at midday.

I stand by my original post that apart from the bumper I love the styling of the car but it is impractical.

I think the tonneau adds new meaning to "being head and shoulders" above the rest. In the event of an accident i think you might be quite literally head and shoulders above the rest, somewhat detached from preceedings and flying through the air.

I am sure the french used something similar to this for giving the aristocrats a close haircut. mrs gillotine was it ?(spelling noted).

Without the spats and stupid wheel trims, brainless bumper it could look quite nice, otherwise totally hideous. The colour suits the car.

Doesn't much appeal to me. However beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's somebody's private property, so they can do whatever they choose with it. Somebody has lavished a lot of care and attention on this vehicle. It looks as though it could be returned to original specs without too much bother - which might well happen when the current custodian passes it on to the next. Besides which how many of our own cars can truly be described as "original" ? Almost every TR owner has incorporated some mods/upgrades seen (or unseen) in my experience.
