Blast from the Past for sale . . . .

Recommended Posts

Spotted this on ebay, something of a formidable car in its day . . . .

Doubtless some of you will recall the redoubtable Henry 30-odd years ago ?

Cheers

Hi Paul,

haven't seen Henry for decades, but a few years ago I heard he was alive and well and living near Exeter.

How the car might have evolved over the years I haven't a clue, for all I know it might be a jalopy under the skin nowadays, but it was quite a beast in its day. I seem to recall it was supposed to originally be a TR2 rather than a TR3, but given the extent of its modifications the question is academic - It's a TR at heart.

Cheers

Alec

I was quite amazed to see anyone place a vehicle of this type and value on eBay just before Christmas.

To realise anything like the amount asked, would want a specialised collectors auction, with a racing following, I would think.

I'd be interested myself if I had anywhere safe to put it.

Al.
