If your second hand hinge is relatively wear free you may just get away with swapping the pins over - if you can get them out, the welds provided by the factory generally have no penetration so you can just about knock them straight off. Is there much wear in in the lower part - sometimes you have to drill them out a little and put some sort of sleeve in. Once you've done that you may find that you have to add some shim material just to straighten the door up a little to stop it catching the top of the "B" post. Not done it yet but I had come to the conclusion that I should try that first using the top pin and then pack the bottom hinge. If the top hinge holes are too loose or ovalled I assumed it would be possible to drill and use an oversize pin? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
