Shezbo
Even the missus noticed this noise on Sunday when out for a run Over mainly poorly surfaced roads (I know)I have noticed a crashing sound mainly from the offside. I have pulled and poked about but cannot locate? I did notice however that one of the body to chassis jointing rubbers has split, could that be the concern? Thanks
Peter Cobbold
Suspension would probably knock rather than 'crash', which to me suggests a sharp, rattling sound. So is something large coming loose? (eg bonnet hinge - had that happen once).
Quentin
Loose lower shock absorber bracket? I had that. Definite crashing sound. Embarrassing really considering I had obviously left it like that after replacing the bushes.
TR NIALL
Drop Link on Anti Roll Bar Broken maybe.
stuart
I presume you have had a good look at the inner lower wishbone mounting brackets where they attach to the chassis. Maybe an idea to take the shocker out and test it. Stuart.

Holding the front of the bonnet (i.e. above the grille) there is play in the hinges or something is loose. I think the hinges are worn rather than something being loose...new hinges I think - which will cure the rather loose bonnet i.e. it moves around whilst on the move. Thanks

Thanks Well it happened to me once years ago, before I fitted the 'glass shell bonnet. If its not the plate coming loose on its bolts to the inner wing you might be able to weld up the play in the hinge pivot. We met at the Wharf - right? Peter
