richard26
Is there an easy way of getting at the 3 screws (and presumably nuts underneath)that hold the hinge of the flap. I want to replace the rubber seal. Thanks richard
PILKIE
Hi Richard. With a long nose set of pliers, work the metal operating rod and retaining spring rods out of their holes, then you can open the flap to get at the screws. Even then it can be a bit tight,so I used a right angled screwdriver, like these! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OFFSET-SCREWDRIVERS-CRANKED-BENT-RIGHT-ANGLE-/110676564042?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item19c4d6584a
