Osbert
My tr4a has just developed a high pitched "budgie" tweet noise, jjust as I depress and release the clutch. It only happens for about the first and last inch of the pedal depression and release. It also does it when gear is in neutral. Any ideas what cause might be.
TomMull
My first thought would be throw out bearing. Tom Edited March 31, 2011 by TomMull
88V8
Perhaps the pedal cross-shaft needs oiling? Or if it's worse when cold, could be the pilot bearing in the back of the crank. Ivor
Tr4Tony
Could be a broken clutch plate spring ....

vivdownunder
Small Australian bush parrot - comes in either green, blue or yellow and popular as a pet. With training, they can out-talk the missus. Never swear in front of a Budgie though........they'll repeat it just when the Vicar calls in for a nice cup of tea. Viv. littlejim
Shortened version of 'budgerigar'. From there, we recently got "budgie smugglers".
