Recommended Posts

Haven't seen the Revington item, but I put an extra box here.

Original on left, extra on right, relay for fuel pump below.

This is my home made version mounted under the pasenger foot well.

The base is made from an abs plastic footrest you have in the office and is hinged to give access.

10 fuses , 5No are ignition fed via a 100amp relay (to remove the load from the ignition switch)

5 are permanant live and all are fed from a new supply via the red buzz bar.

All the relays , electronic ignition , logic device, high beam switching, turn signals buzzer, headlamps on buzzer are housed in the maplin containment.

I have kept the horn & overdrive relay in their original location and just extended the wiring from that point.

I have since replaced the spring hook with a rubber "t" bonnet catch.

Took me until the third picture to work out that they were upside down

If I may be permitted a slight hijack, what have you done with your plenum, have you sealed up the intake?

Sorry the car was upside down at the time on the rotisserie

I decided to open up the plenum when I sand blasted the engine bay and discovered slight pitting between the plenum where it joins the bulkhead. I cut two holes the size of the rubber seals used on the floors and peeled back the centre cection to enable the inside of the plenum chamber to be sand blasted and repaired.

As you can see it was in a terrible condition.

After lead loading etch priming,3 coates 2 pack, polurathane seam sealer and wax oil, I hope it will out last me !
