Andrew Smith
Just testing the hyperlink of a photograph of my 3A held on Malcolm's web site: copied the idea came from Don Elliott.
Andrew Smith
Nah, can't get it to link-up, must be either a technophobe or a "Billy Numb-nuts!" Ok Don (or anyone else), how do you do it? Thanks Andrew
jonlar
Andrew, may not be a problem with what you're doing, but Malcoln's site, I can access his TR7 and family pages OK but not the ? others section.
Andrew Smith
Finally sussed it! You have to put the hyperlink on the post/reply page each time and not in the "signature" option in the Personal Profile section as I was doing. Go on, please have a look at my 3A and make all this worthwhile. Cheers Andrew http://www.zen21606.zen.co.uk/Forum%20Gall...smith_1_big.jpg
rayjones
Looks gorgeous Andrew, I'm not normally a fan of red cars, but that colour looks spot on. Good candidate for the cover of TRaction!
robgeev
Very nice, here's mine off Malcolms site. Rob. Robs old wreck.
Andrew Smith
Thanks guys This could be the beginning of a trend started by Don Elliott! The story of TRK is reported in TRaction 194, but this particular photograph (my favourite so far) was not used, shame really. Cheers Andrew http://www.zen21606.zen.co.uk/Forum%20Gall...smith_1_big.jpg PS, Rob, I'd already spotted your 4 on Malcolm's site. Yeah, right, some wreck! - I've not forgotten the two pints of Guinness, they'll be behind the bar at Trent's July monthly meeting at the Chequers.
Don Elliott
I've been away for the last 3 weeks in TRusty. I drove to the TR races in Virginia where Keith Files from UK won the All Triumph race in his red TR6 with over 35 Triumphs racing on the track together. In all, I drove over 3000 miles and on the way home, TRA awarded me 2nd in my concours class with 86.81 points out of 100 with over 81,000 miles since I finished my restoration in 1990. I drove the trip home from Ohio in one day (793 miles) at an average speed of 66 mph if you take off the time to re-fuel and eat. I keep the address for the shots below in my "favorites" and just copy and paste the address of one or the other photos to my message. http://www.tr-register.co.uk/images/memberscars/trusty.jpg Don Elliott, Original TR3A owner, Montreal, Canada
