Guest kev Posted April 21, 2004 Report Share Posted April 21, 2004 has anybody out there had experience of fitting either the rimmers or s&s sports exhaust with tubular manifold and k&n filters to their stock 2.0l tr7. mine has the stainless rimmers exhaust and sounds like a wet fart. i'm looking for something to give me a bit for performance and a decent exhaust note. any advice or experience of this mod ( good or bad) would be most welcome. ps i know that a v8 is the way to go but the wife already calls it the money pit so that will have to wait. on a serious note what is happening to the price of the 7. mine has been an on going rebuild upgrade resto since '96 and is now ready for the v8, but with prices as they are it is just as cheap to buy a converted car. then i can have 2. that will please the wife.
