carld
Hi I have aquired a pair of period Lucas spotlights. I use to have spotlights on my 4, which were rear mounted and attached to the grille. I dont want to mount these through the grille on my 5 unless I have to, I want to keep my front bumper and therefore wandered if any of you guys can help on alternative ways of mounting/fitting the spotlights. Photos would be great showing any brackets you have made/purchased. Cheers Carl
ianc
For those who wish to retain the front bumper, Revington provides a mounting which fits to the front over-riders, I believe - have a look at the site. Not sure what size of spotlamp can be fitted (so as not to interfere with the bonnet), so check as 7" might be too large. Ian Cornish

angelfj
Thanks Ian Has anybody fitted this bracket to their car and have a photo? Cheers Carl Carl: There are a few ways to fit these. Here are a couple of examples. The top photo is a TR4 belonging to a friend. His are mounted to a badge bar. The bottom photo is my TR250, where I mounted them directly to the bumper bar. ianhoward
Hi Carl I have the Revington 'Lamp Bar' fitted to my '5'... It fits to the inner bumper mounting bolt and has two 'lugs' for the Spot/Fog lights... I have a pair of old 'Hella' spots fitted (6" dia I believe) and do not have any problems opening the bonnet. Best regards Edited May 8, 2010 by ianhoward
