Well I bought the car on the 31st January and gave myself 6 months and a £10000 budget...might just do it!

Great looking job!

If you carry on at this pace, we might get to see it in the flesh at Malvern.

Reckon it'll be finished in two weeks?

Regards

Peter

It could be finished in two weeks but I think the final finish to the paintwork could take me some time - maybe MOT'ed within two weeks! I had thought about aiming to bring it to Malvern but won't quite make it - off on hoilday that w/e.

Rebuilt the seats today after getting the covers restitch with new piping.

I decided to retain their patena...in other words I didn't rebuild them

perfectly!

Practical and sensible. Perfectly OK for the moment, although

the rest of the car is looking so good, you may be tempted to

get new covers in a year or two.

Hi,

As you know , I helped a couple of the previous owners hump your car around in various boxes over many years.

The car is a credit to your efforts and I suppose to the 3 who I know of, who made some progress before you took it on.

Will it be at Harrogate?

Best regards, Chris

Looking great. Just been looking through all the photos.

Don't know if you have exceeded your budget but even if

you have, well worth it.

After all the work you have done, and problems solved,

almost time to enjoy the fruits of your labours.

Hope the clutch doesn't expire!

Looks super - very well done!

The clearance between top of front right tyre and wing seems rather less than usual - is the paving uneven (forcing the right wheel to be pushed upwards) or is the suspension lowered at the front?

I suspect lowering as the ground clearance at the front also appears somewhat less than I would have expected.

Very inspiring Im pleased that the money I exchanged for some of your spares has been put to good use. Now ENJOY it Good Luck Keith

Amen to that. If mine turns out half as good looking I'll be chuffed.

Thank you! I took a few photos yesterday while the weather was nice, apart from my son can you spot the link between the two pictures? ...and it's not poor panel alignment!
