Guest JetAge
Come on Malcolm and all you TR7 enthusiasts.....vote on line in the Practical Classics Top 100, before its too late. (March 22nd closing date) Send to :Pctop100@emap.com You need to say: 1st Favourite 2nd Favourite 3rd Favourite What made you choose no.1 Give name, address and tel. no. Just to annoy us current Mag gives a progress report and quotes one entrant: Choice TR7, Reason Ahead of its time, could still be made now. The mag. then comments 'Are we thinking of the same car! Actually this chap voted twice.' So lets do something about it! There should be enough of us to make a difference.
malcolm
Thanks Jetage!! Voted just now. Come on all of you - Practical Classics is a mag that supports later cars and I'm sure that we can put the 7 on the map by voting with our feet/mice & keyboards. :blues: Malcolm. Guest trminator
O.K. Mission acomplished:** My votes are as follows:- No.1 Triumph TR7 No.2 Jaguar Etype No.3 Austin Healey 3000 I have chosen No.1 for the following reasons:- "The Shape" still turns heads. Available in both fixedhead or drophead form. Rare for a two seater sportscar. Very reliable if regularly and well maintained. Parts are readily available and reasonably priced. Supercar performance with the popular V8 conversion. No snobbery among owners. Everyone and their granny doesn't own one. Prices are low meaning they are a good first classic. Simple to work on. Jeremy Clarkson hates them and, well, look at his taste in clothes and haircuts (plus anything that annoys Clarkson....). ** I reckon we need to make our second choices NOT include Minis and MGB's (yeah like that would have happened) or they could walk away with it. My money is on the mini coming out top. -Kyle
