iain
Hi Don I have fitted a T7 design. It's a terrific piece of kit. Like you I like originality and intended to restore the leaking Smith's unit.........I probably will, but will I fit it? Not so sure. This is a compact efficient unit and not at all expensive. I also like the fact that it works with the original rheostat switch Iain
Don H.
Thanks, guys -- that's what I expected to hear. Iain, did you fit the louvered-outlet version or the four-tube outlet version? I'm sort of thinking the louvered version might give more choice around directing the air. And it looks like I'll plan to bring home a souvenir from 75MM in March! Don H.
By the way, during a drive out with Ben yesterday we decided you should be known as "The BFG" from now on! Hah! And would you believe I have more legroom in my TR3B than any car I own?
iain
Don I fitted the louvred version. T7 are in Exeter, 15 miles from me. As I will be at the 75MM I can collect and bring to Goodwood if that helps? Iain
Don H.
Thanks, Iain -- lemme work on options, but there's a good chance I'll take you up on your courier services for 75MM. I have my tickets and b&b in Chichester all set. I'm already counting down to one of my motoring highlights of the year.
stuart
Guy had the 4 outlet version as he piped the downward outlets but the ones I fit are the 2 pipe outlet and the 2 louvres so it gets less pipe work under there. http://www.t7design.co.uk/index.php/heating/heaters/3-5kw-lightweight-heater-side-vents-12v.html You will have to fabricate some brackets to mount it off the dash supports but its easy enough to do. BlueTR3A-5EKT
I have a dream. 3 of these. One for each footwell plus one for the screen. All controlled by their own switch. (might make the radiator redundant.....) http://www.t7design.co.uk/index.php/heating/heaters/2-2kw-micro-heater-12v.html Peter W PS Or even just one to do the screen vents only. Would make for a lot of heater hoses though! Better still delete the glove box and fit this baby http://www.t7design.co.uk/index.php/heating/heaters/13kw-defrost-heater.html That`ll keep you warm! Iain Iain, I can have T7 Design send the heater directly to my door for less than it would cost you in fuel to pick it up directly -- 'cause I can get it tax free. Shipping or taxes is a wash. It'll keep things simpler to get one straight from them. Thanks for the offer, though.
