Alec Pringle
Hi Chilly, An interesting one this, it was on ebay back in October http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=370097648667 Supposedly "last buyer pulled out of sale because unknown to me near side sill needs some attention" . . . . . sold for £1200 And yet now it's on again, mileage unchanged, "paintwork sympathetically refreshed", "no welding done ect", for sale by the October buyer. Presumably the attention needed to the near side sill was very minor indeed if it didn't need welding ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...007#description It may well be worth the £2495 Buy it Now after some minor work, but when I hear phrases like "paintwork sympathetically refreshed" I long for plain description. Is this a flashover, scraped panel blown in, or just touched up ? Maybe the fact that the seller appears to buy and sell a few cars has something to do with it ? At least he's registered as a business seller. As with all 'low mileage cars" I'd want to see a wadge of pukka documentation and some photographic proof of work undertaken - before and after. Cheers, Alec Cheers, Alec
