jonlar
Can anyone help me with any info re Essex TR Centre, Unit 6b Parsonage Farm Industrial Estate, Stansted, Essex. Are they still going under another name or in another location? Any info please.
clive
I lived in Great Dunmow (about 7 miles from Stansted) for a number of years and in all that time never heard of them mentioned. There is a TR specialist near by, I think maybe Woodford Area... maybe linked? I have no experience of them though. Maybe if you contact the Essex Group (details in TR Action) they may be able to help...
Andy Moltu
Wasn't it called Martin's fuel injection before that?

jonlar
Andy, yes you're right, Martin's Fuel Injection was a name used in TR Action ads from 1991 and 1992. Harry, I think you've confirmed what I'd started to suspect. The adverts state that "Due to the Recession we need Cash Flow. We are therefore offering excellent deals......." etc.. This company was used to do a lot of work to our car at the back end of '92, including a full engine rebuild - which does seem to have been done very well, but things like the badly cracked and perished original water pipes, and very frayed throttle cable (the complete outer layer bar 2 threads) were re-used, these are visible upon close examination of photos taken at the time of the rebuild, and a sheared off petrol tank securing bolt had a bolt head superglued in place!!! The car did 400 miles following this, then parked (8 years in dehumidified storage) up 'til we got her home. I had wondered if the previous owner had a falling out with them. Still we bought it as a rolling resto/car to be enjoyed!
