WWWEATER
Hi I was wondering if power steering can be added to a 2 litre TR7? And if so what parts could be used? If it is possible, I assume there would have been a range of BL cars using some or all of the necessary components, does anyone have any idea which? Thank you. TR8IAN
Hi, Worth speaking to S&S I know they offer power steering systems Cheers Ian
malcolm
Hi,Worth speaking to S&S I know they offer power steering systems Cheers Ian My thoughts exactly. They do a modern electric PAS system which is probably a better bet than messing about with second hand SD1 / Stag / or whatever bits. Malcolm.
Grinnalled
A simple change to the sierra strut top bearings will help if you are finding the steering stiff. but as originally stated S+S do a electronic system which is the way to go, as any other add on SD1 system will mean a fair bit of chop and changing. malcolm
Good point about the strut top bearings. I had this done on my V8 DHC and it really works. Much cheaper than any PAS system too M.
