Steve
Hi all Has anyone put these MGF wheel hub adapters on a tr7/8 ? Company is called Mike Satur Ltd, selling on E-bay item 190178970831. Thickness of adapters 18mm would this be OK. I'm using a set of MGF wheels at the moment so offset is no problem. mikehardwick
Haven't tried spacers that thick, Steve, but on general principal I'm agin it - I've always thought it would put a big load on wheel bearings. What are they for? If they are to give you different stud spacing to alllow a wider choice of wheels I think you'd be better off getting 'blank' wheels and having them drilled at the correct spacing. Rob S
I purchased similar adapters from a US eBay seller (20 mm). I had a lot of wobble when I first put them on. It has taken a while to get them dialed in, plus my tires might have some balancing issues. I still have a bit of wobble, but it is MUCH better now. I have a few more tricks to try to get them perfect. Here is a like to another site where people gave me ideas on how to fix the wobble (plus pics of my car).
