Hi all, is it possible to fit a TR4a hood to a TR4 as it seems easier to put up, obviously it can be done but are there any pitfalls ? Regards Ron

Hi All Just a quick question hopefully with a simple answer. Going to be fitting a new hood. I’ve got all of the bits bar the 18 screws and nuts that attach the rubber retaining channels to the frame. Was just going to buy some nice new ones but as I’ve not any of the got the old ones i am unsure of the size. I could get them from Rimmers etc (PX454) but prefer to get such universal items them from a local hardware supplier also i can go stainless, if only I knew the size. Anyone any ideas of the size, imperial or metric as I don’t think it make any difference.

I have removed my hood frame for painting and found that the lower countersunk screws were not present. All I have is the hex cutout in the B post. Can anyone please tell me what is missing?

Anyway as I will have owned my car for 40 years next year and we are going to the 50th celebration of the TR6 at the International I’ve decided to splash out on a new hood. I’m going to import the replica hood with the reflective strips from the Roadster factory in USA and what I need are recommendations for a supplier who can fit
