Tr Redrose a very nice day driving the back roads of wales and Ford with not a lot of water in it thankfully. We had a few stops on route to Cae Dai Museum ( which is well worth a visit for us oldies) we then stopped a pub for an evening meal.

Unless you’re going to do it correctly, by having the holes filled and sprayed. I’d leave it with the existing mirrors as lots of TRs have those mirrors, if your like me you wouldn’t be happy with grommets just painted.

Nice dry day for a run to The Cock@Budworth for the Redrose monthly meeting, followed by a run to Walk Mill.

Well done let’s hope it lasts, if you like you can pop up to Cheshire and repair mine, it was working on Sunday but today we have our granddaughter and we were washing all the cars and doing our daily checks and the only Horn that doesn’t work was the TR looks like a job for tomorrow.

Meet up with the Stoke Group this morning for a lovely drive to Weston Park car show, where we meet the Shropshire group and had a nice stand with 19 TRs. A little cool still but stayed dry, after a good look round and a chat over lunch it was Time for our run back avoiding the potholes.

Also don’t forget fill the gearbox then use the car for a short distance to allow the oil to move around into the overdrive and top up again. That’s why I have the grommet.

Hi Steven, I have put a 3” Grommet in the side of my gearbox tunnel I have a large syringe I fill with Penrite GB40 and fill it that way, some gear box oils come with a short bit of pipe. For the diff you have to get the car up off the ground front and back so it’s level no easy way just get under with you diff oil with its short bit of pipe and fill.

I am can only get on with iPad and not iPhone, go to Tr Register let’s you in go to forum and I only get photos below. When I do it on the iPhone it doesn’t register me on the who’s on line list.

Looking round I don’t think they make them like they used to, have you tried going to a exhaust manufacturer we have a couple by us that manufacture exhaust’s for rally and sports models.

Next project is to look if I can manufacture some wheel arch inners out of Proplex black sheeting strong waterproof and easy to cut.
