  1. Good tank available, as shown on Forum Buy, Sell, Trade advert link :
  2. A pair of 165's are available too Bob, they have only done 500 miles on a TR6 so still virtually full tread. Will be offered to the wheel buyer first, for price of a few beers...
  3. TR2 tank from a low mileage car that underwent a few changes. As the photos show, its in very good order - the inside is good too. It was intended for a project but change of plans etc etc so space dictates I let it go. Repros are now around £360 - £390, so I'm thinking its worth £160 as there's plenty of years in it yet. Comes complete with a new inlet hose. Collection Colchester, which includes free tea. (shipping is a possibility but no idea of cost). Bob
  4. Full Tonneau cover for a TR6 as per photos. Photos show condition, any questions please message me. Prefer collection but post possible at cost. Location Colchester.
  5. Your basic choice is either a 6-3-1 OR a 6-2-1 manifold. Firing order on a 6cyl is : 1-5-3-6-2-4 So with the 6-3-1 manifold, it will have ports/pipes 1 & 6 paired together, then 5 & 2 paired and 3 & 4 paired. Each of those 3 three pairs then goes into one large diameter pipe at the bottom of the manifold (hence the name 6 into 3 into 1 ). This is good as it allows two other cylinders to fire as the gas escapes down the first stage of the manifold before another exhaust port empties into the same pair. Whereas on the 6-2-1 manifold, it will be 1 & 2 &
  6. John, I downloaded the document from stuart and made a pdf in order to save it - worked for me on W10. A copy is on your PM list. regards Bob
  7. Hi Bob
It might take me some time to find the crash pad in my shed, so the other offer from France might be quicker, plus mine doesn't have the metal fixing bracket.
If you get stuck, I will have a good rummage
    Cheers
    Ian

      Hi Ian,

OK - I'll reply to the other sender (eclem) and see what getting it from France involves.

  12. INVITATION FROM THE ESSEX TR GROUP An opportunity for 4 wheeled Triumph owners with their cars to join a TRIUMPH event at Brands Hatch track. Date 3rdJune 2015 I have a group booking for a NOVICE TASTER SESSION at Brands Hatch track Kent, on the above date. This is NOT a track day….its simply an opportunity to take your TRIUMPH around the track behind a pace car and do a dozen or so laps – just for a fun experience ( and to be able to say you’ve taken the old girl around Brands!). You will do 3 laps behind the pace car to learn the turns then the pace car will pull in and you’l
  13. 18 TR's circled the Indy circuit last night for a dozen or so laps & we had a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come along in what looked like was going to be bad weather, in fact we were rewarded with a dry track and brilliant sunshine at just the right moment. Look out for the photo's in TRaction Bob
