this topic came up in the last 6 months and one of us found a company producing better seals. I was one who benefitted from this but cannot remember the details, must be in the search somewhere. It was august 23 post .Title A TYPE OVERDRIVE. seals were found by TRier Roy

All I can say is that they are mintex competition spec made 30 years ago so still asbestos Roy

I have a new set of shoes with competition spec material supplied by Enterprises for a TR2 . Also original Alifin drums if anyone is interested that i had intended use but changed plans Roy

Yes i got caught out by this several years ago. Spent hours checking everything. Some miss print.

I think that you get the clear message NO from all the above posts. COMPETITION Engine builders void any guarantee if used Roy

Do you have a pre pump filter ? When driving the fuel is swishing about. When standing still a particle can settle to the bottom of the tank or where ever and settle . When the new pipes were fitted a small piece of rubber from cutting may have been washed through. Check in the pump inlet. Roy

I would look for some restriction in the supply to the pump. Roy

On my modernish BMW i checked for a blown fuse as central locking failed. Because i had stopped power to the computer it required a visit to re programe. So a power isolator wouldn't work. And John the exact same happend to a friend , even with full video of visit and later theft showing the same person and drop off car it was the same just a crime number. When recovered and dna still no action. The reaction was well think yourself lucky , you got it back with £500 damage so less than insurance excess Roy
