Chris as Peejay says remembrance goes a long way, the lads will appreciate you being there.
A couple of years ago we went to Tyne Cot cemetery, my girlfriends great uncle is buried there, he was wounded on 01/07/16 with the Sheffield City Battalion, but sadly died the following year at Passchendale. When you visit these places it is very moving.

Sorry to hear your sad new Chris, we lost our beloved 13 yea old cat Pepe the same way back in September which is when your dog had some treatment,I think.Look to the future and the summer, children will miss her and besad for a while but are resilient.HNY
