Jans notes are fab and bring back memories of our first Scottish Isles Tour in 1999, when we encountered a huge bull mounting a cow beside us in the TR4A on a very narrow road on Skye, I was terrified and thought we were going to be squashed car and all. The bovines had a drover with them who must have been all of 15.

Great, can’t believe it ten years since I followed this on Facebook. I’m looking forward to reliving it all with you and Jan again.

Tonight we went to see “One Love” the Bob Marley Biopic and towards the beginning of the film in a town in Jamaica there is a red TR6. There are some other good British cars in the film too, Rovers and Jags.

Best content the office then roger so they know. As The powers that be may not use the forum so won’t get the massage that something is up..
They will only deem it as another “ Conspiracy Theory”.

Hello, is there anyone out there?
Have you all been locked out of this Forum?Has there been a major outage problem here that only those of us who remain logged in are still here?
Is the contact phone number for Jo in the Office still 01256818866?

I watched Bagpuss as an adult when my son was a toddler, another of that time was Pigeon Street. I will never forget when said son turned to me asking “ do we live in pigeon street mummy?”.
I was a fan of Mr Benn at the time and like Bob Le B’ ,as a child, loved Bill and Ben The Flowerpot Men and my most favourite Rag, Tag and Bobtail.I never liked Andy Pandy, he was creepy akin to Jimmy Saville, Luby Loo was alright though.
When I first met Roger I thought he was mad as he would start communicating with me in “ Clanger” he watched this programme whilst working shift work. I on the other hand worked normal office hours and had never heard of The Clangers……! He kept going on about blue string soup and the soup dragon. We always have blue string available even now.
I know someone who had a Clanger who used to very occasionally play it over the tannoy in a BA hangar, I wonder who that was?

It’s absolute chaos, all routes jammed with traffic, Roger has been in a jam/ queue for three quarters of an hour now having left home at 08.00. I remember being in this same situation a few years ago too.
He would return home but has promised a lift home to someone. I’ll keep you updated if I hear any more. He just rang me for a moan……!

Wouldn’t Berth 8 indicate something to do with Shipping? Perhaps they are lined up to be loaded onto a ship and be sent abroad.

Hi David,
almost certainly Royal Blue.
I believe it was created in 1964 and named on behalf of Prince Charles when he bought a TR4 in 1964.
I could be wrong but I will try anything for a knighthood.
Roger
He is the King now……

I'll work on the pics etc.
Haven't worn the new snowboard boots yet, Sue (other than in the house). We were out on Saturday and my old boots started falling apart so yesterday I got all the new kit and will be snowboarding on Saturday with them. I expect a few blisters, but hopefully it will be survivable!!
It will be cold too!!
Tim
Good luck and enjoy. It’s very cold here today but nowhere near as cold as where you are.

Hi Hamish,
Yes I have a bunch - I'll dig them out and post some.
My profile pic here, FYI, is taken on the Top of the World highway between Yukon and Alaska on the Alcan 5000 rally back in 2014. That's Jan leaning against the TR looking out at the clouds in the valley below.
Tim
Could you repost Jans Facebook Blog, at the time, here…?
how’s your ankles holding up with the new boots? I remember skiing with new boots ( hjghered ones) and ended up with V shaped scars on the back of my ankles for the next couple of years. Hope you haven't got blisters.

Even if they have to pay Sue what about all the other hidden costs in terms of policing, clean up etc which are passed on no doubt to council tax payers?
I don’t think it can be added into our Council Tax as it must be included in the Mayors Precept which is mainly for The Met Police and a Park over the other side of London that we have to pay for thanks to Ken Livingstone , those of us on the west of London are hardly ever likely to go there although I did go there once. Traffic on M25 is prohibitive of getting there or even wanting to get there.
( I worked in Council Tax, Rates, Community Charge for the last 20 years of my working life)We went to see the Millenium Fireworks and Concorde Flypast we we’re on Westminster Bridge, we didn’t see a thing because it was sooooo foggy and then we were Kettled by the Police on horses, talk about frightening, never again……………..

But Khan and his half baked Labour cronnies can't house the homeless or get a hold on record knife crime!
Hardly a priority but never mind I'm sure ULEZ fees will pay for an even bigger event next year.
What a waste?
Andy
I am under the impression that you have to pay for your ticket to see the London fireworks, you cannot just turn up to watch you must have a ticket. I could be wrong about having to pay but don’t think so.
