The brackets the base of the seat is only aprox 1 to 2 cm from the carpet. I have sold them to tall people and they have not said there were problems, if you live any where near Aylesbury Bucks you can sit in my car and try they. Fabricator emailed the order for more brackets is ready I will get them painted. pse contact me simonblackburn@ic24.net best regards
